Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Blast Game Puzzle Blocks mobile game (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects on iOS and Android, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is developed by Aayush Neupane. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
Summary
- The app has no accounts, logins or sign-up. We do not ask for your email, phone number or real name.
- Your settings, player name and best score are stored only on your device. We do not receive them.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device and usage information to deliver and measure those ads, as described below.
- You can limit ad tracking at any time (see “Your choices”).
Information stored on your device
The app saves the following locally on your device so the game remembers them between sessions: your sound and music settings, the player name you choose in Settings (if any), and your best score. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and supported by ads, including optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for an in-game bonus. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show, measure and protect ads against fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) | Personalised advertising and ad measurement. On iOS this is only available if you allow tracking. |
| IP address and approximate location derived from it | Delivering ads relevant to your region, fraud prevention |
| Ad interactions (ads viewed or tapped) and general app interactions | Ad measurement, frequency capping, analytics |
| Device and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, crash and performance data) | Ensuring ads display correctly, fixing problems |
We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. Google processes it under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
- iOS: the app asks for permission before tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can review or change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy Options inside the app.
Earlier versions of the app
Earlier versions of the app included an online leaderboard. Those versions created a random player ID and sent it, together with a player name (a randomly generated one such as “P-123456”, or one you chose) and your scores, to our server. Current versions no longer do this. If you used an earlier version and would like that data deleted, email us at [email protected], and include the player name if you know it. We will delete it within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
Data sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than Google AdMob for the advertising purposes described above.
Security and retention
Information stored on your device stays there until you uninstall the app. Information collected by Google is retained according to Google’s own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not hold personal information about current users, most requests are best directed to Google using the controls above. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s store listing.
